All the proposed Healthcare bills being considered FALL SHORT on promises:

  1. None of the bills “provide healthcare for ‘everyone’ ”.  Most are covered by other programs. People truly at poverty level have Medicaid.  The remaining uninsured can afford insurance but choose not to buy it, or are illegal immigrants.
  2. None of the bills “reduce costs” for the TAXPAYER (it does the opposite, adding $239 billion to the deficit per CBO Report .
  3. None of the bills “increase quality and access” (it does the opposite, per CBO report).

NCN does not support the plan to pattern a giant health bill after the failed Massachusetts plan according to Boston Globe … or the failed Tennessee plan according to CNSnews  using the Commissioner of that failed plan, Nancy DeParle, as the White House’s “health czar”.
